To respond to increasing logistical demands, our processing plant was moved from Calcutta to Burdwan (150km from Calcutta). The choice of this location is ideal in terms of infrastructure. Of the many rice mills in the area, the majority are now no more than 15-20km from our plant. The river ports of Calcutta and Haldia are only 110km and 150km away respectively and easily accessible via a nearby highway. We are therefore able to ship product very quickly.
